It was the Lord and He said, “Come with me.” I was scared. I was very scared. Most people would be. This was a spirit talking to me and I thought it meant He wanted me to go with Him. “Up where?” I thought. I was only twenty-two-years-old. I could only protect myself with the blanket I had, so I covered myself with it. I pulled it all the way up over my head. But the Lord’s voice kept saying, “Come with me.” His Spirit covered the whole room. His voice was not like the voice of a human. His voice was penetrating and it just kept speaking, penetrating into my mind. It was very powerful. His Spirit was almighty and His presence was overwhelming. The best way I can describe it is, it felt like energy radiating all around.
In one night, my whole thinking was turned upside down. Yesterday, I was a non-believer, an atheist, believing only in the physical and the material. I thought I didn’t believe in God. And now, I saw how wrong I had been.
