Big Yellow Moon is the imaginative account of a young boy who is enamored with the moon and his initial desire to pluck it from the night sky and possess it as his own. Watching the moon as it majestically rises in the late evening sky, his mind races to find a suitable place to store it if this was possible. Ultimately realizing that this would be impossible to do, he arrives at the conclusion that this wonderful lunar satellite, although the lesser of the two great lights established in the heavens by God in the chronicles of creation, serves a distinct purpose in our world and is better left to appreciate and admire.
