Honey and honey bees are used as images to convey God’s blessings, love, strength, wisdom and things of great worth and even references to Christ. The flowers illustrate God’s creation, symbolizes beauty and teaches lessons about faith and life. Also, this goes along with being grounded or rooted with nature, you also need to be grounded in the Bible and rooted in the word of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the vine and we as followers are the branches.
Just as the sweet aroma of flowers draws the honey bees closer, our Father in Heaven wants us to draw near him.
