There is nothing you can do to make me love you any less... There is nowhere you can go that my love won't reach you... Those fateful words, spoken on a cold night during World War II, become the catalyst for a heart wrenching journey beyond imagining. A terrible event, committed by an evil monster, ultimately determines the course of two little girls, Kiela and Kayley Stonehaven. Blessed, or is it cursed, with the rare ability to see the world through a condition called synesthesia, they are adopted by an embittered soldier. They are abused, neglected and forgotten by a world that doesn't understand them.
In an instant, their reality, and the way they understand it, changes forever, as they travel through time to begin a trek across a foreign land, following a rabbi known to all as Jesus. Their journey of discovery turns to intrigue, as a mysterious box of paintbrushes and clay tools is uncovered. One mystery leads to another as they attempt to discover the identity of their real father. What are the tools, and what do they mean? And more importantly, who is their real father? As they find their way to Bethlehem, and meet a banished Roman soldier named Cassius, Kiela and Kayley's gift allows them to witness historical events in wondrous, terrifying ways. As they experience the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, through the eyes of their ability, they ultimately begin to understand how to use the gifts that God gives us, how deeply He loves His children, and what the future holds for those who truly believe.
Upon their return, however, a dark presence has followed them. The worst criminal the world has known, has been given new life by an evil society known only as the Unseen. Together, they plan to destroy the one thing that gives lives, and the world itself, meaning; Hope. If left unchallenged, The Unseen will plunge the world into darkness and eternal chaos will reign. Only a father seeking forgiveness for past sins, a high stakes race across the U.S., and two little girls are able to stop the world's destruction... But even that may not be enough...
